Learn About Romanas Unidos & Elect State Party Members

Join us at our regular monthly meeting where we will hear more about the local organization Romanos Unidos and also elect two members to the State Committee.

Come learn more from FCDP treasurer Oralio Limon Caldera about Romanos Unidos, a local organization which aims to help Latinos and undocumented immigrants.

Interested in what the State Committee does?

State Committee members are elected by the County Party to four-year terms. The State Committee is the highest authority of the State Party and has general responsibility for the affairs of the State Party such as adopting Party policy, legislative platforms, amending the State Charter and Bylaws, nominating and electing State Party Officers and Congressional District Chairs, and acting upon other matters it deems necessary. If you are interested in serving on the State Committee or have further questions about what is involved, be sure to speak to one of our current State Committee members on or before this meeting to decide if you would like to stand for election.

Floyd County elects two members to the State Committee.

As always, refreshments will be served and you’ll enjoy conviviality with like-minded folks here in the Rome/Floyd County area. Bring a friend!

If anyone has accommodation requests, please call or text with those requests as soon as possible: 931-452-1250.
