Local Politics Matter! Come meet and talk with candidates for City Commission Thursday, Oct. 3, 7:00 p.m.

All candidates for this November’s election for Rome City Commission have been invited to this monthly meeting. Each will be provided with a table and you’ll have the opportunity to speak with them individually about why they’re running, what they see as the most pressing issues facing the city, and ask them questions that matter to you as citizens. Refreshments will be served.

Six seats on the Rome City Commission are up for election this November including three seats in Ward 1 and three seats in Ward 3. Candidates running for Ward 1 include Jim Bojo, Mark Cochran, Bill Imscher (incumbent), Milton Slack (incumbent), and Sundai Stevenson (incumbent). Candidates running for Ward 3 include Bonny Askew, Bill Collins (incumbent), Craig McDaniel (incumbent) and J.J. Walker Seifert
